Immediate Action Needed to Stop Coerced Abortions in Missouri
With less than two weeks left to pass legislation this year, HB 1831,handled by Sen. Rob Mayer (R-Dexter), is still waiting action by the Missouri Senate. The bill would make it a crime to coerce a woman into having an abortion against her will by threatening to fire a pregnant woman, taking away her college scholarship, or abusing, threatening or stalking a woman to coerce her into getting an abortion.
ACTION:
Contact your senator immediately and let him or her know that you want HB 1831 taken up for debate and passage as soon as possible.
MESSAGE:
Missouri is a pro-life state and women deserve to be protected from coerced abortions. Vote yes on HB 1831.
