Aftermath of Superstorm Sandy

While the rest of the country was enjoying clear fall days Superstorm Sandy crashed into the Northeast, causing billions of dollars in damage, and shutting off power to millions of homes. The storm affected as many as 20 states and is blamed for more than 100 deaths up and down the east coast.

Now a nor’easter storm has dumped snow along the New Jersey coast and into New York City, where residents are still struggling to clean-up and in some cases get an estimate on the actual damage to businesses and homes. Many who lost power and had it restored, lost it again due to the heavy, wet snow accumulation.
