The USCCB has once again called upon Catholics nationwide to observe a fortnight of prayer, fasting, and study to intercede for the Church’s continued ability to bear witness to the truths of the Catholic faith in the public square through evangelization, education, and service to others. The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision on marriage re-definition will have implications for the Church’s continued ability to publically engage in charitable and other work through its many affiliates.
The fortnight begins June 21st and runs through July 4th. Check your local diocese and parish for information on events near you.
