There are a lot of voter guides circulating in these weeks before the November 6 election. Some may appear to be from an official agency of the Catholic Church but are not. Other guides may be biased (or incomplete) in comparing the positions of candidates on issues. The MCC recommends the use of The Challenge of Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship, a one-page summary prepared by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Also recommended would be any voter education material approved and distributed by any of the Catholic dioceses of Missouri.
