The Little Sisters of the Poor are speaking out in support of the U.S. Bishops in their battle to reverse the recent federal mandate that requires religious employers to pay for abortion drugs, contraceptives and sterilizations.

In a statement released March 1, the Little Sisters said the recent mandate by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) “violates the individual and collective religious liberty and freedom of conscience of the Little Sisters serving in this country.” To read the full statement, click here.
