This week the MCC sent a letter of appreciation to pastors, school principals, and others who worked so hard to place the Children’s Education Initiative (CEI) on the November 4 election ballot. Ultimately the effort fell short, even though over 116,000 total signatures were gathered. CEI would have offered tax credits to assist in the education of public and nonpublic school children, including those with special needs or disabilities.
