Join us as we rally for religious liberty on Tuesday, March 27 at noon in the first floor rotunda of the State Capitol.

Wear red to show support for bills that will protect our religious liberties. If you want to lobby legislators, please come at 10 a.m. to register. We will be there to help you find your legislators. We will also provide cards for you to sign and deliver to your legislators and the governor. If you don’t know where to go when you arrive at the Capitol, look for volunteers in red sashes to help direct you. If you are coming just for the rally, it starts at noon and no registration is necessary.

Sponsors of the event are: Assemblies of God USA, Concerned Women for America, The Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod, Missouri Baptist Convention, Missouri Catholic Conference and Missouri Right to Life.

Speakers include:

Dr. John L. Yeats – Executive Director of the Missouri Baptist Convention
Maggie Karner – Director of Life and Health Ministries for The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod
Archbishop Robert Carlson — Archdiocese of St. Louis

  2. What is the time schedule? Some people need to know what time the rally is going to end as to whether or not they can attend. Is there a tentative schedule?

    • Hi Lynn,
We expect the rally to last an hour and a half at the most. So, plan for the rally to end before 1:30 p.m.
      Thanks,

  3. How much walking will be involved? My 83 year old mother-in-law might want to go if it is not physically stressful. Are the speakers indoors? What if it rains?

    • Hi Betty,
There will be walking from wherever you park. It will likely be difficult to find a parking spot, so it might be a mile or so walk to the Capitol. The speakers are indoors, but because we are expecting a large crowd, we are not setting up chairs. There are benches inside the Capitol. We are inside, so nothing changes if it rains. Please call our office at 573-635-7239 if you have more questions. Thanks for your interest!
