June 21 marks the first day of summer – the summer solstice – but for those of us who are not astronomers summer has arrived with hot and humid conditions, a sharp departure from the cool spring we have been enjoying. Summer is associated with family vacations, ice cream socials and family reunions. Don’t let this summer go by without spending time with those you love.
