USCCB Pro-life Chair Calls for Prayer to Protect the Unborn in Law

Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Chair of the USCCB Committee on Pro-life Activities has called for prayer that with the retirement of Justice Anthony Kennedy, we will one day see a day with every human life is protected in law. While the U.S. bishops do not endorse or oppose candidates for judicial office, or for nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court, Dolan is asking people of good will to join him in an effort of pray from Friday, August 3 to September 28 “that this change in the U.S. Supreme Court will move our nation closer to the day when every human being is protected in law and welcomed in life.”

The USCCB Call to Prayer network will share prayers and educational resources and an invitation to fast on Fridays for this intention, which can be found at this website.
