Next week, the National Catholic Educational Association Convention & Expo will be held in St. Louis, with a predicted attendance of over 8,000 educators from around the country.
In a press release, Superintendent of St. Louis Catholic schools Kurt Nelson said, “The Archdiocese of St. Louis is proud to welcome the NCEA Convention and the thousands of educators from across the country to our city. We have a strong legacy of Catholic education in our region and this convention will provide an opportunity to showcase that heritage as we prepare to embark on our third century of service.”
Archbishop Carlson will celebrate the convention’s opening Mass on Tuesday, April 18, at 8:30 a.m. The NCEA Convention is the largest private-education association gathering in the nation. For more information, read the full press release from the Archdiocese.
