Abortion Supporters Seek to Make St. Louis an Abortion Sanctuary

Two St. Louis City Alderwomen have filed a proposed ordinance that would prohibit employers from discriminating against employees based upon their “reproductive health decisions” under the city non-discrimination laws.  Working closely with proponents of abortion rights, the two Alderwomen are also seeking to make St. Louis an abortion sanctuary by seeking to impose a buffer zone around the Planned Parenthood facility downtown as well as making it a crime to create a disturbance near the facility.

The MCC is working closely with the Archdiocese on these proposals and will be tracking their progress. For now, read more in this St. Louis Public Radio article. Stay tuned for more.
