The solar eclipse is coming! The solar eclipse is coming! Are you ready?
On Monday, August 21st, 2017, Missouri will be in the direct path of the solar eclipse. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the earth and the sun, causing a temporary obstruction. When the sun is completely obscured (a total eclipse), one can see the sun’s faint atmosphere, the corona. Just be sure you are wearing proper eye protection!
