Congressional Investigation Raises Questions of Law Violations by StemExpress

A Congressional investigation being conducted by a U.S. House Committee has raised questions of possible law violations by StemExpress, a tissue procurement company that was one of the subjects of last summer’s videos involving Planned Parenthood. The questionable activities include violations of patient privacy, along with possible coercion in obtaining informed consent from women procuring abortions.

The investigation into the actions of StemExpress has led Committee Chair, Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee), to request further investigation and action be taken by the Department of Health and Human Services.  Read more here.
