Indiana May Join Medicaid Expansion Fold

The Republican governor of Indiana, Mike Pence, wants to continue making the market-driven reforms found in the Healthy Indiana Program, but that is not deterring him from seeking the federal funds now available to expand Medicaid. Here is a story from the Chicago Tribune. So far 26 states have expanded Medicaid. Meanwhile, for the second year in a row the Missouri General Assembly refused to enact legislation to reform and expand Medicaid. The issue will almost certainly be back next year.
