MCC Mobilizing for Passage of DREAM Act

The Missouri Catholic Conference is urging MOCAN members to contact their Congressperson and Missouri’s two U.S. Senators to urge passage of the DREAM Act. Failure to pass this legislation will mean many young people will lose their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) protections, which include work authorizations and protections from deportation.

There is strong bipartisan support for the dreamers. It is recognized that these young people were brought into this country as children by their parents. America is the only home they have known. But partisan bickering on non-related aspects of immigration policy is holding up action on the DREAM Act.

Contact your two U.S. Senators and Congressperson today and urge passage of the DREAM Act! Click here to respond to the Action Alert.
