MCC to Seek Veto Override of Two Pro-life Bills

The Missouri Catholic Conference will be asking legislators to override Governor Nixon’s veto of two pro-life bills during the upcoming veto session in September.  The bills include HB 1307, which sets the waiting period for abortion at 72 hours, and HB 1132, which increases the amount of tax credits available for women facing crisis pregnancies and for those who don’t have enough to eat. Please vote to override Governor Nixon’s veto of HB1132 which would mandate a 72 hour waiting period before an abortion and would allow an increase in the amount of tax credits for pregnancy resource centers. Thank you.
