The Missouri Senate has reached an agreement with Planned Parenthood over the release of documents providing information about the disposal of fetal remains following abortions. The documents were originally sought via subpoena, but Planned Parenthood refused to honor the request. As a result of their refusal, the Senate began contempt proceedings against the abortion giant.
An agreement was reached this week whereby Planned Parenthood will make the requested documents available for review. Pathology Services, Inc., the lab that analyzes the fetal remains for Planned Parenthood in St. Louis, has continued to refuse to comply, and has now invoked its Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination instead.
