Missouri Women Seeing Some Progress in Equal Pay

Fulltime working women in Missouri earn 78 cents for every dollar earned by men with full-time employment. This is an increase of one cent from 2015. These are just some findings in a recent report by the Institute of Public Policy at MU’s Truman School of Public Affairs.

The report notes that while poverty rates for women in Missouri have decreased since 2010, more women, especially older women, live in poverty than men.
