St. Louis Peace and Justice Commission to Address Inner City Turmoil at MCC Annual Assembly

Members of the St. Louis Peace and Justice Commission will offer a workshop at the MCC Annual Assembly on October 3rd addressing issues of poverty, racial tension, and family breakdown, and their relationship with unrest in the City of St. Louis. The Commission, Chaired by Marie Kenyon, an attorney from the Archdiocese of St. Louis, was started in response to the Michael Brown shooting as a way of promoting justice for those facing financial and other difficulties arising from poverty.
