State Budget Approved

This week the Missouri General Assembly gave final approval to a $26.4 billion state budget which funds a multitude of services from public schools and state universities to public safety and mental health programs. The budget authorizes the issuance of bonds to pay for a new Fulton State Mental Hospital, provides $48.2 million to add Medicaid dental care, and increases by $115 million the funding of the foundation formula for K-12 public schools.
