On Tuesday at noon, pro-life supporters gathered outside Planned Parenthood locations around the country to rally to defund the corporation and to condemn the act of selling, buying or trading of fetal body parts from aborted babies.
Over 50 rallies took place; two of those were held in Columbia and St. Louis. The Missouri rallies each had speakers representing religious groups, government officials, medical professionals, students for life, and women who had been betrayed by Planned Parenthood. The speakers shared their disdain for abortion practices and the harvesting of fetal body parts from these procedures.
Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler issued a statement urging support of legislation that will ban federal funding of Planned Parenthood. Senator Roy Blunt also issued a statement expressing his disapproval of Planned Parenthood’s practices.
Angela Grogg is a woman who was betrayed by Planned Parenthood many years ago, and shared part of her story with the crowd in this powerful and emotional testimonal.
